|
Plant Breeder (Senior Research Officer) for plant breeding and tissue culture sections. Currently based in Paloh Substation where over 500 ha of oil palm breeding and clone trials are planted. Area of responsibilities include oil palm breeding, oil palm ortet selection and parent palm selection for commercial seed production. He was a plant breeder with IOI Research Center (2002-2003). He graduated from University Malaya with first class honors in Agricultural Biotechnology (2002). He graduated with a MSc (Applied Plant Science – Agronomy and Plant Genetics) at University of Minnesota, USA in 2008.
